Those people that we loved; the part of me that slowly faded away

We made a new add up to our team at Message Factory. He’s so young, full of enthusiasm when he speaks and he has ardent eyes… When he burst out laughing it’s magical and contagious. He reminds me of someone with whom I shared thousands of giggles as a little girl. He reminds me how I forgot that eyes can sparkle… How laughing without holding back can nourish your soul. He reminds me of all the people that I loved and with whom I had so many great moments but unfortunately lost sight of. For a reason or another, life had us take different roads and without a farewell, we never saw each other again. This quick note is for you…

Are you still alive? As the years went by, did they make you forget your inner child? Can you remember how long it's been since the last time that you laughed until it was hurting your sides? Did your eyes sparkle to the point that tears of joy were rolling down your cheeks during the last month? I’m sending you this message like someone who would throw a bottle at the sea, full of hope that it will reach its addressee; I won’t forget you, don’t you forget yourselves… I still cherish every single moment of pure complicity that we shared together. Philippe, Lise, Marco, Stéphanie, Christina, Jean-Luc, Marc, Martin, Sophie, Nathalie, Marie-Josée, Isabelle, Jean-François, Catherine, Myriam, Josée, Marie-Claude, Mario, Julie... I salute all of you, I pray that you’re living an easy and peaceful life. I wish you to find happiness and a whole lot of giggles. Are you still alive ?
