2012: The end of the world and the beginning of a new and improved world.

The Summer 2012 collection reflects some of the frenzy the year 2012 has created for many up until this point. 2012 is a year when anything can happen; just like the turn of the new millennium, many are crazed thinking that something terrible could occur, and that it will be the end of life as we know it. I have to admit that I am scared of death. Not so much of the notion that I would be stored in a wooden box for eternity, but rather the idea that I would no longer be able to live or enjoy life. In fact, I am so scared of death that the feelings some have about 2012 is the same kind of feeling I always have—which is probably why there is such a silly grin on my face all the time. It’s probably why lately I enjoy meeting so many people; why everything looks beautiful to me; why everything is like music to my ears, just as if these were the very last days of my life.I know that deep down we are all good people. I know that if each person arose every morning with the intent to make a difference, 2012 could still very well be the end of the world, but it would be the beginning of a new and improved world too. Free sprits are everywhere. Free because they break away from out-dated beliefs and practices, and spirited because they live with energy and presence. These free spirits look at life with fresh pairs of eyes, enjoying every moment as if it were their last.We are free spirits, and we must constantly strive to do a little bit more, a little bit better each day. You are a free spirit; be proud of your success, saddened by your mistakes, but never defined by either. Know that each day is an opportunity to reinvent who you are and to learn. Each meeting offers the discovery of another, and of a different side of you. We are free spirits; we enjoy sharing and building together, but we know that it is important to lead the way as well. Free sprits are easy to recognize; we walk with pride, we go with the flow, and we welcome all. Within every human being is a free spirit. Just as nature springs upon the earth each season, we must take the opportunity to rouse the spirit in those around us. In winter we offer the bliss of the first snowflake; in spring we offer the kiss of morning dew; but it is in the summer that we offer pure light, joy and fun, bringing laughter to all and awaking the slumbering spirits inside those around us.
